Q:
I registered, but did not receive an
activation email, and I cannot login using my username and
password. What do I do?
A. First, check your Junk Mail box to
see if the activation email was placed there by your email
service. If no email was sent, go to the
Account Activation page and enter your username or
email. A new activation email will be sent to you
immediately.
Q: I am trying to leave
a review, but the vendor is not listed in the search
results.
What do I do?
A. When logged in, click the “Add
New Vendor” link and add the vendor to our database. After
the vendor is added you can post your review.
Q: Can I edit a review that I have posted in the
passed?
A. Yes, you can edit or delete a review you have written
previously by logging in to your account, click Manage
Account>Manage Reviews then select Edit
or Delete.
Q: How do I know the reviews
are unbiased?
A. TheWedReview is constantly monitoring the Newlywed
members to verify that the wedding actually took place when
and where it is said to have
taken place. Our verification process is
random, but very frequent, and we feel it does a good j ob
deterring false reviews.
Q: Can a vendor pay for
preferred placement or have bad reviews removed?
A. Although we accept vendor advertisement, a vendor
cannot pay to appear higher on a search result page.
Results can be sorted in alphabetical
order or by ratings level.
A review is only removed if contains foul or derogatory
language.
Q: What if I hire a vendor with a high rating, but
still get poor service?
A. TheWedReview is a research tool. We do not endorse any
specific vendors, nor do we
guarantee any level of
service.
Vendors
Q: How do I join as a Vendor member?
A. Any vendor can join as a FREE member
by clicking on the "Vendor" link in the footer of our
website's Home Page.
Q: I
have joined, now how do I login?
A. Once we receive your registration
information we will contact you to setup your account. Once
this is done you can login using the user id and
password assigned. Login by clicking the "Vendor" link
in the footer of our website's Home Page.
Q: How can I respond to
reviews left for my company?
A. All level 2 members can respond to reviews left for
them. Only one response per review is permitted. Contact
us for details on memberships.
Q: Can I have my company’s listing removed if we get
negative reviews?
A. A company listing is not removed. A review may be
removed if it is abusive and/or offensive in language.
Q: How do I add photos and a logo to my listing?
A. All level 3 members can upload photos and a logo to be
added to their listing. Contact us for
a membership application and pricing
information. Once your account has been upgraded to
level 3, you can email photos and logos to us for upload.
Q: What prevents a
competitor from signing up as a User and leaving bad reviews
for my company?
A. TheWedreview performs periodic random audits of User
accounts, and we have various verification procedures in
place to reduce the possibility of
false reviews. If a vendor is found to have
engaged in leaving false reviews, the vendor’s enhanced
account features will be terminated without a
refund, and a public message
will be displayed on the vendor’s listing notifying users of
the vendor’s actions.
Advertisers
Q: Do I have to be a
member to advertise on TheWedReview?
A. Any vendor can advertise with us. You do not need to be
a listed vendor or a member.
Q: Can I advertise in
more than one category?
A. Yes. You may advertise in several categories. Please
contact us for details.
